Prayer

Following the example of Jesus Christ, World Relief commits to making prayer our priority as it is foundational to accomplishing our mission.  The power of prayer flows from the blessings of relationship we receive when we spend time with God.  That time in prayer allows us to transform our minds to the mind of Christ and empowers us to accomplish His will among the nations in community with the local church. Therefore, we commit to fulfilling the command given by Paul to the church at Thessalonica:

Rejoice always; pray without ceasing; in everything give thanks; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.

-1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 NASB
